Often the work left behind for those closest to the deceased who are tasked with closing the estate becomes a full-time job. Trustate was founded by estate administration experts who saw an opportunity to use technology and innovation in this space for the good of humankind.   • Market-Rate Compensation: Ping pong tables, cold brew on tap, kegerators, and phony “unlimited vacation” policies are okay, but we believe these things do not move the needle at all when it comes to taking care of our employees, particularly when used to mask an environment where people are not well compensated. Even though we are an early stage company, building an excellent team is our #1 priority, so we provide our employees with market rate salaries and benefits regardless of location, 4 weeks of paid vacation, generous maternity and paternity leave, and flexible “back to work” options for those returning from a leave of absence.

The Job Process

Because of this, we plan to keep you posted, through every step of our process. We will keep you promptly informed, every step of the way, with where your application and prospects with Trustate stand, and whether or not we are moving forward with your application. 

  • Step 1 - Complete Application/Upload Resume. Please complete this Job Inquiry Form, where you can submit your Resume/CV. We can’t wait to learn more about your professional background and career to date.
  • Step 2 - First interview! Should we move forward with your application, a member of our team will be in touch to set up an interview. This is more of a call to get a feel for what you are looking for and whether your goals for your career align with the company/role for which you are applying.
  • Step 3 - Technical Challenge / Work Style Assessment. We know this part might seem like a drag, but it helps us figure out how your technical skill set fits with our open roles. The work style assessment helps us determine where you best fit within our organization as well as gives us a framework to ask better questions in Step 4.
  • Step 4 - Final Interviews. In this last stage, we will reach out to schedule additional interviews with members of the team, at your convenience. We like to schedule these during “off” hours in an effort to make this as painless as possible, as we know you might be working / have limited bandwidth during the typical business day.
