Before co-founding Trustate, Leah was a Sr. Trusts and Estates Attorney at DLA Piper LLP, where she advised individuals, families, and institutions on estate planning, business succession, and complex tax strategies. She began her career at JPMorgan Private Bank and later worked at a boutique TE law firm in NY and NJ. Leah has been featured in Law.com, Business Insider, and named a Super Lawyers "Rising Star" multiple times. She frequently lectures on estate planning and has hosted CLEs for thousands of TE attorneys.
She holds a B.A. from the University of Miami, a J.D. from Cardozo School of Law, and an LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown Law. Leah is licensed in NY, NJ, and MD and lives in Florida with her husband and two sons.
